Custom Japanese Knife Handle - Petty handle : rosewood

This is a shield shaped Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from East India rosewood with ziricote ferrule and olive spacer

Small sized, it is suited for 90-150 mm   Japanese petty knives. 

Weight: 24g Length: 115.5 mm (4.6”)

Handle is sanded to 600 grit and then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer for longer protection.

Care :

• Hand wash with soapy water and towel dry.
• Do not put in dishwasher, nor soak in water for long periods of time.
• Oil on a fairly regular basis, or sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer like tru-oil as needed.
